What happens to your words.

Short version: almost nothing is kept. No cookies, no ads, no tracking. What you write reaches Shawn and no one else, apart from the services that carry it, named below.

Who

Pantz Studios is a web studio in Riga, Latvia, run by Shawn. He is responsible for what this site collects, and uses what you send only to answer you.

To ask anything about your data, write to hello@pantzstudios.com or through the note on this site.

The assistant

When you ask the assistant something, your messages go to Anthropic, the company behind the Claude model, so it can write the answer. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms they are not used to train its models.

This site does not store the conversation. It lives in your open tab and is gone when you close it. If you ask the assistant to wrap it up, the conversation goes to Anthropic once more to draft your note.

Anthropic deletes what it receives within 30 days, unless a message breaks its usage rules.

The assistant is an AI and can be wrong. Shawn reads every note himself.

The note

A note you send is emailed to Shawn through Resend, an email delivery service: your words, the address you gave for the reply and, if it came from the assistant, a short summary and the whole conversation.

Your address is used only to reply. The email stays in Shawn’s inbox while it is needed to answer you and for any work that follows. Ask, and it is deleted. Resend keeps a copy of the send for a limited time, under its own terms.

Counting visits

Vercel Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. It sees the page, the site that sent you there, your country, and your browser and device type, and the site tells it a few acts: a section reached, a project opened, a step tapped, the assistant started, a note sent. Nothing you type is ever part of it.

To stop abuse, the assistant and the note remember your IP address in the server’s memory for at most a day. This site’s code never writes it down; like any host, Vercel keeps short-lived technical logs of requests.

On your device

There are no cookies. Your browser keeps a few small things for this site: your motion setting, where you were on the page, and whether you have seen the opening drawing. They never leave your device.

The project cards show each project’s site live. When one loads, it comes from that site’s own server, under its own privacy policy. The fonts come from this site, not from Google.

Where it goes

This site runs on Vercel. Vercel, Anthropic and Resend are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there, under the safeguards each of them provides for data from the EU.

Why it is allowed

Answering a message you chose to send is a step you asked for (GDPR, article 6(1)(b)). Keeping the site safe from abuse and counting visits without identifying anyone are legitimate interests (article 6(1)(f)).

Your rights

You can ask to see what is held about you, to correct it, to delete it or to take a copy with you, and you can object to its use. If you think something is wrong, you can complain to Latvia’s Data State Inspectorate (dvi.gov.lv).
